JOB: PART-TIME COMPANY ACCOUNTANT
SALARY: 35-50K
LOCATION: LEEDS (HYBRID)

Due to continued growth and increased market share, a new opportunity has been created for you to become their Company Accountant where you will play a key role in their exciting, growing and entrepreneurial business. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be part of their small senior management team and take ownership for all accounting related tasks, whilst also helping with operational and strategic projects.
Specific Requirement:
You will carry out an all-encompassing role which will include:
- Introducing Financial Controls and providing meaningful Management Information to the Directors.
- Managing the companys financial position, recommending any new structures, procedures, improvements and cost savings.
- Being instrumental in new upcoming projects, both operational and strategic.
- Liaising regularly with third parties, such as suppliers, banks and external accountants.
- Monthly Management Accounts, together with meaningful Budgeting & Forecasting.
- Cashflow Management.
- Profit & Loss, and Balance Sheet Reports.
- All other accounting related tasks such as Payroll, Accruals & Prepayments, VAT, Bank Allocations etc.
Skills & Experience required:
- Either Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ACMA), Part-Qualified, or Qualified By Experience.
- Experience from a similar sized SME / OMB / Family owned ore entrepreneurial business.
- A knowledge, appreciation or passion of working in a similar related industry (e.g. Services/IT/Technology/Consultancy etc) will prove advantageous, but is not a pre-requisite.
- Ability to think outside the box and be able to add real value throughout the exciting times ahead.
What’s on Offer:
- A starting salary in the region of £35,000-£50,000 dependent on experience.
- Full-Time or Part-Time hours to suit.
- Flexible and genuine approach to Hybrid working, as long as you’re able to visit their Leeds City centre office once or twice a week.
